Surveillance Officer
The OpportunityFawn River Cultivation Company is seeking a Surveillance Officer to join our team at our second Prosper Provisional Center location in Wayland, Michigan.
As a Surveillance Officer, you will be conducting facility-wide surveillance camera and access control operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property, team members, customers, and visitors.
Core Duties and Responsibilities Monitor all areas of Prosper Provisional Center property through video surveillance system.
Check visitors and customers in and out.
Observes and reports procedural violations and illegal activity.
Makes written reports and logs on any observed violations and illegal activity in a timely manner.
Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are always operational.
Ensures that all state and internal policies and regulations are followed.
Complies with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school or equivalent.
At least one-year related experience (Preferred).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to write legibly and express thoughts on paper in a clear manner.
Ability to prioritize task, handle multiple projects simultaneously, organize and complete assignments.
Physical Requirements Ability to see and recognize details on video screen.
Ability to hear and speak to communicate on two-way radio.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors for entire shift.
Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
